
Bean-To-Bar Chocolate tour
Our Bean to Bar Chocolate Class offers a unique hands-on experience, transforming high-quality organic cacao into delicious chocolate.
Begin with a visit to our cacao nursery, home to grafted cacao, coffee, vanilla, and spices. Watch as our guide demonstrates grafting Criollo cacao onto Trinitario rootstock, and taste the tangy sweet pulp from a freshly cracked cacao pod. Learn about fermenting and drying, then explore our Garden of Exotic Flavors.
The journey concludes at the Agritourism Center where we will guide you through the entire process of crafting a chocolate bar from scratch, including roasting, winnowing, conching, and tempering. Finally, roll up your sleeves and join our instructor in tempering and molding your own chocolate bar to take home!
