Snowdon Mountain Railway

Visitors to the Snowdon Mountain Railway will depart from Llanberis Station and journey across the Afon Hwch River, pass by Waterfall Station, Hebron Station, Halfway Station to reach Yr Wyddfa, the final peak of Snowdon. Visitors can choose between the Heritage Steam Experience aboard The Snowdon Lily, The Mountain Goat or the Traditional Diesel Service. Snowdon Summit Visitor Centre at Hafod Eryri features a cafe and gift shop where visitors can enjoy a meal or shop for souvenirs before returning to Llanberis. From mid-March until the end of October, weather permitting, the train leaves Llanberis every 30 minutes from 09:00 and visitors are advised to book in advance.
