Somoto Canyon

Leave the hotel with your guide and driver; you will be driven north, to Somoto Village around 1 hour driving distance from Estelí city. The Somoto Canyon is one of oldest rock formations in Central America. It has become one of the main attractions of Northern Nicaragua due to its recently "discovered" tourist potential. It is an impressive site with a unique scenario. Between its walls, visitors can undertake various activities. In this wonderful outdoor activity, you will live an adventure in one of the most recent natural reserves in Nicaragua "The Somoto Canyon", where you can walk and swim in a canyon with walls 250 meters high and 4 meters wide. The tour includes the rowing boat ride along the river that runs through the canyon. Lunch will be enjoyed in one of the communities living in the area.
